research, strategy datA & Design to build & grow products.
Hey. My name is Patrick and I'm a growth-focused Senior Product Designer with a proven track record of delivering measurable business impact — spanning revenue growth, profitability, and product-led expansion — across start-ups, scale-ups, and enterprise organisations. Having shaped products and experiences for Australia's top ASX 100 companies and leading global brands, my work spans industries including Loyalty, Government, Fintech, Higher Education, SaaS, Data, eCommerce, and Web & Mobile.

-
Problems that sit at the intersection of people and complexity — whether that's untangling a clunky user flow or designing something from the ground up. I'm drawn to projects where the stakes are real: tools people rely on daily, experiences that reduce friction at stressful moments, and products that have to work beautifully and make business sense.
-
Collaboratively, and I mean that genuinely. I believe the best design happens in the room with stakeholders, developers, and real users — not in isolation. I run workshops, ask uncomfortable questions early, and bring people along for the ride so that by the time we reach a solution, everyone's bought in and nothing comes as a surprise.
-
If you need someone who treats design as a balance — between user needs and business goals, between beautiful and functional, between moving fast and getting it right — then yes. I'm not precious about my work, I thrive under constraints, and I care just as much about whether something works as whether it looks great. If you want a designer who shows up, listens, and delivers with intention, we'll get along just fine.
-
AI is embedded in how I work — from sharpening copy to transforming scattered thoughts into clear requirements and polished presentations. Think of it as a coworker that handles the heavy lifting on output, so I can stay focused on the thinking, the strategy, and the craft. It accelerates my velocity without replacing my judgment. The ideas, the decisions, the design thinking — that's still all me.

myer
Nobody buys from a website they don't trust. At Myer I spent a year fixing the small things — sizing, pricing, stock, imagery — that were quietly killing conversion.
Turns out the details are worth $50M. Inside: how retailers unlock real value across brands, suppliers, and teams — and why the data you collect today is your most underrated commercial asset.
Rebuilding Trust at Scale: A Behavioural Redesign of Australia's Most Complex Product Page
DAVID JONES
As lead product designer, I spearheaded the end-to-end relaunch of the David Jones Rewards programme — designing a seamless omni-channel experience across web, app, and in-store touchpoints, backed by real customer research. The centrepiece was the David Jones Loyalty Hub, a centralised platform giving members a personalised, connected loyalty experience. A collaboration that redefined how Australia's most iconic department store engages its customers.
The Loyalty Paradox
endeavour energy
Designed an interactive outage map from scratch for Endeavour Energy, giving customers instant visibility into power disruptions in their area.
Using digital cartography, the tool surfaced real-time information on outage locations, causes, and estimated restoration times — empowering users to self-serve during emergencies and significantly reducing pressure on call centres.
